To ensure your tresses look good at all times, please follow our hair care recommendations below.

Before Installing

• Shampoo, condition and detangle the hair with cold water and a wide tooth comb or Denman brush (only use sulfate free products)
• Trim any split ends from your natural hair and make sure your protein/moisuture balance is in good condition 
• Wait at least two weeks to install hair extensions if you have newly, chemically processed your natural hair (i.e.— perms, texturizers and bleaching/coloring)

After Installing

• Handle your hair with care and always shampoo in a downward motion bi-weekly (you don't want to wash too often– as doing so could dry out the hair)
• When deep conditioning, try to let sit for 15 minutes and rinse and detangle with a denman brush or wide tooth comb starting from the ends
• To prevent weighing down the hair, use light-weight hair products in moderate amounts
• Book with your hair stylist regularly for maintenance and any hair coloring— it is very important that your hair remains properly cleansed and dried. 
• Purchase and only use sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners
• Wrap your hair at night and sleep overnight on a silk/satin pillowcase with a silk bonnet
• Resort to fully air drying your tresses instead of blow-drying for the best results
• Have your stylist trim the ends of your tresses
